A Window of Hope - Supporting Cancer Council Tasmania's Relay for Life

IGA Tasmania are proud to be supporting Cancer Councils Tasmania's 'A Window of Hope' campaign.

The Window of Hope campaign will be run in IGA stores across Tasmania in support of Cancer Council Tasmania’s Relay For Life Tasmania program. Shoppers will have the chance to purchase a card and write a message of Hope on it, either for someone affected by cancer, or in support of our ongoing battle to beat cancer in Tasmania. Stores are encouraged to use the cards to create a ‘Window of Hope’ on their store front in support of those affected in their local community.

Importantly all funds raised through this campaign will stay in Tasmania to support local communities and families through support and advocacy programs, information, resources and research initiatives. Cancer Council Tasmania are proud to offer practical support programs, such as the state wide wig library, transport2treatment, as well as emotional support through  Living Well After Cancer workshops and support groups.

Every day in Tasmania alone, more than 8 people will hear the words ‘You have cancer’.  With the support of the community and partners like IGA, Cancer Council Tasmania aims to reduce the incidence and impact of cancer on all Tasmanians.

All funds raised through this campaign will stay in Tasmania to support local communities.
